Megans at Battersea Power Station are recruiting
They are recruiting for Team Members ( Waiters & Waitresses) to join their team. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience.


Your Role


To support the delivery of a high-quality service shift; demonstrating a passion for great coffee, healthy food and delicious drinks.

You will be highly motivated and deliver outstanding guest experience at all times, making every shift better than the last.

Inspire, maintain and deliver exceptional operational standards.

The Day to Day Team Members:

  • Ensure you are taking guests drinks and food orders as soon as possible as per the steps of service & company's Musts
  • Always check back on your tables, ensuring the guests have all they need to enjoy their experience.
  • Take the guests' bill when requested and ensure they are paid before the guests leaves
  • Clean up and reset the tables as soon as the guests depart

Bar Team Members:

  • Ensuring the bar and surrounding areas are kept clean at all times as per the weekly cleaning rota
  • Ensure that you manage orders sent to the bar on a timely manner and
  • Ensure that our guests receive their drinks order quickly and efficiently
  • Follow all recipes and drinks specifications so that all products are made to standard
Results-Driven (Team members & Bar Teams)

  • Focused on driving sales: always looking for ways to increase sales such as in turning tables quickly and effectively, sticking to service timings to maximise covers and utilising upselling skills.
  • Ensure all company security processes and procedures are followed, relating to payments, stock control and securing the restaurant at the end of the shift.
  • Ensuring all opening/closing duties are carried out and signed for on the daily duties list.
  • Following company standards, of storage, stock rotation, food quality and portion control.

People (Team members & Bar Teams)

  • Participate in positive team work on shift across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Assist in the training of new Team Members, Bar Teams, Runners or Hosts as requested by your manager.
  • Actively participate in team meetings.
  • Attend daily shift briefs; understanding relevant business updates, key company messages and your role in achieving the restaurant's financial goals.

Service (Team members & Bar Teams)

  • Build a good rapport with all guests during the shift and ensure that all guests receive SWAG service and any feedback is dealt with effectively.
  • Every single guest that comes to us is fully experience our company Musts & Steps of service
  • Be knowledgeable and passionate about our food, drinks, service and company story. Share and discuss this with our guests and team.
  • Take ownership and accountability of your section, ensuring your guests are prioritised over anything else
  • Deliver our company service steps to every single guest, listening, apologising and resolving when needed
  • Never compromise on service standards, even at peak times.

Food & Drink (Team members & Bar Teams)

  • Be knowledgeable of all food, drink, deli and take away served on site.
  • Full menu knowledge to ensure high quality food, drink, deli & takeaway and correct recipe specifications delivered at all times.
  • Be aware of all menu changes and participate at Team training sessions and tastings for smooth delivery to our guests.

Safety, Hygiene & Property (Team members & Bar Teams)

  • Follow & understand company's Food Safety and Health & Safety Policies, referring to them at all times to ensure correct processes are followed.
  • Maintaining exceptional levels of cleanliness within all areas of your site, ensuring the restaurant and surrounding areas are kept clean at all times as per the daily & weekly cleaning rota
  • Report any accidents to the manager as soon as possible
  • Report any faulty equipment or any other matters that could affect the health and safety of you, or others, to the manager as soon as possible.
KPI's

  • Mystery Guest & Reviews results greater than target
  • Health & Safety Compliance

Salary:

  • Monday
  • Friday £10.30 per hour


  • Saturday

  • Sunday & Bank Holiday's £11.30 per hour
.Extra 50p per hour after 3 months service

  • Extra £1.00 per hour after 6 months service
  • Extra £1.50 per hour after 12 months service
  • Plus if an additional £1.00 ph of every peak day worked if your site hits sales bonus
  • Must be aged 18+
