We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Co-ordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working 14 hours per week, for a temporary contract until 31st March 2025.

The Role
As a Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you will lead engagement with the community and our partner organisations, creating opportunities that have a positive impact for those in Hollinwood.
Delivering engagement and co-production opportunities that involve and make a difference to communities, you will create an active, vibrant Community Hub, delivering services that meet the needs of the community.
You will also work with our Food on Our Doorstep and LifeSkills teams to ensure that learning and opportunities for collaborative working are maximised and embedded.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote and market the activities on offer to the community and other stakeholders
- Analyse and manipulate data for reporting
- Support volunteer recruitment
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and adults
About You
To be considered as a Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience in a community multi-agency setting using participatory and community development methods to engage communities
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and/or development work
- A good understanding of safeguarding issues
- To be educated to level 3 or above with a recognised professional qualification in community engagement, development work, health or education or equivalent experience
