Functional Skills Specialist

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Functional Skills Specialist, this is a remote role so there is no preference on location within the UK.

My client is an award-winning training provider, operating in multiple offices across the UK. The Functional Skills Coach should have previous experience in a similar field.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Functional Skills Specialist:
Coach and develop delivery teams to hold the minimum skills for English and Maths

Deliver English and Maths sessions to the delivery team

Monitor the delivery team's performance, reporting any under performance and look at best practice to resolve these areas

Ensure the delivery staff are competent and confident to understand and use the teaching and assessment resources in connection with English and maths (from initial assessment to their formal examination).

Ensure functional skills completions to be achieved to the set times

Provide feedback and support on course material

Support the internal and external teams

Benefits:

Salary:
£28,000 - £30,000 PA

Rota: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday

Provide staff training, development and support for all delivery staff

Ensure all training and development activities are logged

Communicate with internal and external staff
