Description
An exciting opportunity to join the SGUL anatomy demonstrator team has become available. At St George's, anatomy is taught as part of an integrated and spiral curriculum.

In addition to lectures, anatomy is taught mainly in the Anatomy Suite through multiple resources, including plastinated cadaveric specimens, anatomical models, potted specimens and digital resources, such as Complete Anatomy and Anatomage.

Practical classes are led by academic staff and facilitated by our team of anatomy demonstrators, which is composed of senior students (T-Year and above) and Core Surgical Trainees.

The team is composed of qualified and experienced anatomy teachers as well as senior students from the university. Students benefit greatly from this diverse range of teachers, whilst our student demonstrators gain invaluable teaching experience.

We wish to recruit demonstrators for our anatomy teaching sessions for the academic year The successful individuals will be prepared to work on a bank basis.

This is a fixed term one year post; suitable for individuals who would like to enhance their knowledge of anatomy and gain teaching experience in higher education.

If successful, you are expected to attend a training day to inform you on sound teaching practices, especially in relation to the Human Tissue Act.

You will be paid £14.31 (set by the University of London) for each hour that you teach, plus one extra hour for both preparation and tidying.
