Job Overview:

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with team of experienced educators to support the learning and welfare of students within the classroom.

Your role will be instrumental in creating a positive and conducive learning atmosphere, enabling each child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging lesson activities.
Provide oneonone or small group support to students who may require additional assistance in understanding the material.
Monitor and maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Help with classroom preparations, including organising materials and setting up resources for lessons.
Support students with their social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and values.
Assist in classroom assessment and recordkeeping as required by the teaching staff.
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and educational outings.
Support students with additional needs.

Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
High levels of patience, empathy, and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Although formal qualifications are not essential, some experience in a childfocused environment is preferred.
