Location:
Salford

Start date: 30th January - July 2023

Salary:
£1,400-£1,700 per month (paid weekly)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Job Specification

We are looking for qualified teaching assistants - or people with the relevant transferrable skills - for roles within our good/outstanding (Ofsted) partnership schools in Salford.

You will be responsible for:

Assisting the class teacher with setting up the classroom before lessons
Handing out lesson materials and equipment
Provide insight into the progression of the pupils
Supervising group activities
Providing extra support to any child that requires it
Helping the teacher to manage pupil behaviour
Reading to the children
Looking after children who are upset or have had an accident
Able to build strong relationships with pupils
Flexible
Able to communicate effectively
Capable of managing behaviour effectively
A qualified teaching assistant
Experienced at working with children in key stage 1 and/or key stage
Be able to travel around Salford using public transport or drive

Teaching Assistant Summary
Applications from experienced teaching assistants and newly qualified teaching assistant are welcome.

Salary:
£1,400.00-£1,700.00 per month
