UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have a exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Doncaster a category B local resettlement prison situated in South Yorkshire.

Doncaster houses a male population of up to 1145 individuals, approximately 200 of whom are young offenders aged 18-20.

Shifts

shift patterns for this role are 3 days a weeks 7.5 hours, to cover a 7 day rota

This position is full time an you'll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum depending on experience.


What you'll be doing:

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care

  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • A nonjudgmental and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy
