Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Skilled CNC Miller to work with their client on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our reputable and well-established client provides engineering and manufacturing services for various sectors such as electronics, communications, defence, food processing and marine industry.

Location:
Weymouth

Rates of pay:
Negotiable - £12 to £20 per hour (DOE)

Overtime:
basic rate + £1.33 to £1.55 per hour, plus double pay rate for Sundays (when needed)

Core hours:

8am to 4pm Monday Thursday
8am to 1pm on Friday

Snapshot of duties, responsibilities and requirements for CNC Miller:

To programme, set, and operate various machining centres
Essential: 3 axis experience
Desirable: 4 axis or 5 axis (full training given)
Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of various controls such as Fanuc or Heidenhein
Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained, and updated to reflect current process on job cards
Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
Always maintain a safe and tidy work environment
