Intervention Teachers or Tutors are Required for jobs starting now and after Easter in Swindon

Are you a Maths or English Tutor or Intervention Teacher/Tutor looking for Intervention teaching in Swindon starting ASAP or from after Easter 2023?

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic and engaging English and Maths Intervention Teachers for additional support with 'catch up' for students that are falling behind academically.

This will be working predominantly with GCSE students and willbe required 5 days per week from pm.

The role is within a mainstream secondary school in Swindon and will include working with students in small groups and sometimes 1:1.

Due to the need for additional support, we are working with this lovely mainstream secondary school in Swindon which urgently requires additional English and Maths support with tutoring of their students and also English and Maths teaching in small groupsto provide catch-up lessons.

These students will be behind in their learning and need additional support to get them to the expected academic level.

It is imperative that these students get the additional support they need to catch up and so we will be requiringa teacher or tutor to work asap until the end of the academic year.

We have positions starting after Easter too

The English and Maths Intervention Teaching work will involve working on a 1:1 basis & also small group work with various students of mixed ability.

Some will be high achievers, and some may have special educational needs.

Due to this, we are looking fora diverse individual who can engage students of all abilities and build strong and trusting relationships quickly.

We are looking for:

Teachers who hold qualified teaching status (QTS) or equivalent (not essential)
Degree qualified individuals with proven experience of working with young people
FE qualified teachers and online Tutors
An inspirational and enthusiastic individual with high organisational skills
Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom
