Job Purpose
To ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are always demonstrated. To complete all relevant procedures as laid by the company.


Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • To greet guests as they enter.
  • To seat guests at tables.
  • To provide guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
  • To assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
  • To engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service.
  • To respond to complaints and helping to resolve them.
  • To answer phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
  • To show a knowledge of the menu.
  • To help out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  • To provide great customer service.
  • Familiarise yourself with our Core Values TITANIC which link to the desired behaviours that we expect all our employees to display
  • To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law about the following company regulations
  • Fire regulations and procedures
  • Health and safety regulations
  • First aid procedures
  • To ensure that the company dress code is always adhered to
  • To undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position at the request of your Supervisor/Line Manager
