Description

Purpose:

The visual merchandiser will work with the management team to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Manchester United Megastore by creating compelling displays and maintaining a visually appealing retail environment.

The Role:

Collaborate with the Assistant Manager & retail operations to ensure the product flow/placement achieves maximum sales.
Plan and develop merchandising strategies to hit launch dates and balance company's objectives.
Analyse sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges.
Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
Produce layout plans and maintain store stock and inventory.
Produce weekly trade reports to share with wider business.
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes.
Work with Megastore salesfloor team to develop store standards through training guides and guidance on launch projects.

The Person:

Proven working experience in retail merchandising.
Displays a great understanding and passion for the brand.
Demonstrates creative flair
Excellent analytical skills
Strong commercial awareness
A great eye for detail
Computer literacy
Selfassured in decision making.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
