Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with our client to appoint their new Head of Finance, a key leadership role within their business responsible for all aspects of financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You'll have relevant experience in a similar Head of Finance type role, with experience of managing a team of finance specialists across accountancy and transactional tasks.

We're looking for a real "people person" with the ability to build strong relationships across a range of stakeholders within the business, with the ability to support different areas with the finance needs.

You'll be an experience finance professional with specific skills in strategic planning and working to Exec level to provide reporting on all aspects of financial compliance.

Additionally, you'll take the lead in developing a financial strategy for the business.

We're keen to hear from people with previous experience within public sector and/or a charity.

If you meet the following criteria, we'd love to hear from you:

Suitably qualified within CCAB
Experience working in a Head of Finance or similar leadership role
Specific experience of line managing a finance team
A background in financial planning within third sector/ public sector
Solid financial reporting skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills: the ability to build meaningful business relationships
Able to work 2 days a week in Glasgow
