Front End Engineer

A powerhouse within the wealth management and professional services industry is looking for a Front End Engineer to join their team in Bracknell on a permanent basis, with the option to work remotely twice each week.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring good code design, quality, reliability and resiliency
Good communication skills
Have a drive for selfimprovement and learning new technologies
Approach solving problems pragmatically
Willing to work collaboratively as well as independently

Key Skills and Experience Required

2+ years of proven experience in front end software development
Good knowledge of frontend technologies including but not limited to HTML, CSS & various JS frameworks/libraries
Experience in React (ES6 & Typescript would be a bonus)
Experience with GIT
Basic understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and a willingness to practice TDD
Experience working with cloud
Ideally Azure
Experience working within an agile, iterative engineering environment
