(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.The role of the phlebotomist is to collect blood samples by venepuncture from patients ensuring patient, personal a nd colleague safety by adhering to departmental and divisional policies and procedures and relevant health and safety Guidance To provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to care for patients meeting the identified physical and psycho-social needs
The post holder will:
- Experience of venepuncture is essential be educated to standard grade level of have equivalent experience
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience of working in mental health services
- Must have up to date mandatory Medical emergency training and Violence reduction training
- Reliability and selfmotivation Willing to accept additional roles in post as it evolves.
