The Hastings Academy is looking to recruit exam invigilators to join our existing invigilation team. This is a casual contract, so hours and days will vary dependent on need. However, availability between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm is required.

Examinations take place throughout the academic year, starting in October and ending with the GCSE examinations in May and June.


Under the guidance of the Exams and Outcomes Manager, Exam Invigilators provide support for internal and external examinations at the Academy.


The role involves:
- assisting with the set up of exam rooms
- patrolling exam rooms during exams and monitoring students behaviour
- collecting exam papers at the end of exams
- ensuring compliance with statutory policies related to the role
