Machine Operator

Salary:
£10.80/h (Overtime will be available)

Location:
Kent

Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00)

Work Type:
Fulltime - Permanent

Job Overview:
Search is currently working with a leading food manufacturing business. My client has a fantastic opportunity for Machine Operators to join their growing and exciting business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To carry out prechecks and cleaning tasks of the production line.
Set the machine to production recipes.
Preparing raw materials for production.
Replenishing packaging and films to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays.
Set up batches of production as per the production plan.
Manual handling including the stacking of finished goods.
Maintain the hygiene of equipment.
Completing documentation throughout the shift.
Replenish the PH.
Record downtime and work with the team to help minimise this.
Resolve machine stoppages.
Achieve OEE and waste targets.
Work as part of a team.
Maintain health and safety and always adhere to policies and procedures.
Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, efficiency, safety and waste reduction
Help & assist in the training of others and identify own training needs.
Any other adhoc duties as required.
Previous Machine Operator or food handling experience within a food manufacturing environment
Numerate & literate and able to follow instructions
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Basic IT skills
Flexibility to cover different shift patterns to cover absence/holiday and overtime as required.
