Description

We are looking for an astute Procurement Officer to join our rapidly expanding team in Edinburgh
You will oversee purchasing activities, ensuring that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.

Within this role, you will also be required to negotiate effectively and ensure that all purchases comply with Enoda Ltd standards.

We are looking for someone with an analytical mind and a strong understanding of product and service trends.

You'll spend your time:


  • Reviewing procurement documents and prepare orders
  • Creating Request for Quotes, Requisitions, Purchase Orders and Receive Delivery Notes
  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
  • Managing and maintaining Supplier / Vendor Approval list
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
  • Manging both internal and external Stakeholders including Suppliers
  • Reviewing, comparing, analysing material costs and services to be purchased
  • Managing and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, etc
  • Maintaining good supplier / vendor relations and negotiating contracts
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports

The key experience we're looking for:

  • Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position
  • Conversant with NDA, SLA and MSA
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
  • Goaloriented, organised team player
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

The following would be advantageous:


  • Experience of purchasing software and Microsoft Office
  • Liaising with prospective suppliers, and conducting negotiations

Interview process:


  • Exploratory call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team (Virtual)
  • 1st Stage Interview with the Hiring Manager and wider team (In-Person or Virtual)
  • Final Stage Interview with the Hiring Manager and a Founder (In-Person or Virtual)
