- Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering accessible sports and wellbeing activities.

- Experience of working with a wide range of people with all abilities.
- Experience of mentoring, supporting and supervising staff & volunteers.

Essential
- Ability to plan and allocate staff and team rotas.
- Ability to support, motivate and lead a team towards set objectives.
- Ability to work on own initiative and take decisionmaking calls.
- Ability to maintain and uphold all policies and procedures.
- Ability to support with interviewing potential frontline staff.
- Ability to oversee and/or carry out staff induction training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, citizens, carers, professionals, and other agencies.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to complete reviews of care plans & risk assessments.
- Well organised, with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for high standards.
- Strong IT literacy, with the ability to monitor and maintain staff & citizen records via a digital case management system.
- Enable the delivery of regular inclusive sports and recreational wellbeing activities, leading to progression and improvements for an individual's physical, health, mental, and social wellbeing
- Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality & GDPR.
- Full Driving licence willing to drive to various locations across Birmingham & Walsall.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Training & Qualifications
Desirable
- Educated to diploma or degree level or relevant experience within an accredited awarding body.

What Does A Coordinator Do?
The coordination and delivery of quality and well received sports and recreational wellbeing activities & events for people of all abilities across Birmingham.
Responsible for activity participants, staff, sessional staff, volunteers and the maintaining and developing partnerships bringing, people, organisations, and services together through the Community Hub.
This role will require you to complete and review risk assessments for activities at venues/locations across the Birmingham and carry out regular audits of both adapted and mainstream equipment.
This role involves lots of problem solving skills to ensure we achieve outcomes for the citizens we support.
There's a need to be responsible, confident, and tactful in how you approach tasks and the broad range of citizens, families, and professionals you will encounter in the course of your duties.
With the support of experienced Managers, you'll need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team and able to maintain comprehensive digital records.
