About The Role:

Falmouth University's ambitious 2030 Strategy, 'Doing it for Real', is designed to deliver yet further growth in our student numbers and income through portfolio diversification, innovation, research and commercial ventures.

It will establish Falmouth as the market leader for creative industries and entrepreneurship education over the next decade, capitalising on our considerable assets in innovation-led research and business incubation.

We are seeking to recruit a

Lecturer in Entrepreneurship to join Cornwall Business School and teach across our MSc courses with specific expertise in the fields of Management, Marketing and/or Entrepreneurship.


This exciting role will be crucial in leading the development and delivery of key modules on our MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management.

Working closely with the Course Leader, this role will be ideal for someone with practical industry knowledge and experience of teaching at HE level.

You will be designing and delivering a blended mix of on-line and on-campus learning material, working as part of an experienced academic team and teaching a diverse undergraduate cohort.


About You:

You will have a proven track record of delivering an engaging high-quality student experience and will take an enthusiastic and flexible approach in delivering content across a range of established and emerging topics.

Alongside these core qualities, you will be a dedicated and knowledgeable advocate of best practice in entrepreneurship and passionate about sharing your approach with students.

You will recognise the importance of well-developed organisational skills and be comfortable delivering content in person and through digital platforms.

Most of all you will demonstrate a genuine desire to help your students succeed and will always be willing to offer the support that the individual needs to help them achieve their full potential.


  • Expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation management and/or marketing.
  • Experience of teaching within a HE environment.
  • Excellent communication skills on an individual or group basis.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to network both within and outside the University with appropriate academic and nonacademic partners.

This is a full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday.
