Project Manager - Rivers, Dams and Maritime - TEMP 12 months - Flexible on location (Market rates)
Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as a Project Manager.

The role will involve working with a respected technical team and working collaboratively to both secure and deliver work across our extensive client portfolio.

My clients Rivers, Dams and Maritime discipline works closely with UK and international clients to manage and develop their extensive portfolios, successfully planning, designing and enabling works that optimise the use of commercial and natural resources.

Our team is responsible for high profile and award-winning projects including the design of the proposed Havant Thicket Winter Storage Reservoir and Ipswich Tidal Barrier.

Our frameworks with multiple water companies, the Environment Agency and the energyand defence sectors provide us with a significant pipeline of strategically important improvements to the nation's infrastructure across including new and improved water supply and flood storage reservoirs, flood defences such as the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier,nuclear new build and MOD naval facilities.


Requirements:


  • Degree qualified (degree or HNC in a relevant Engineering Discipline preferable).
  • Chartered status (preferred).
  • Experience in the fields of Rivers, Dams and/or Maritime Engineering would be an advantage.
  • Track record of delivering successful multidisciplinary engineering design projects in the UK.
  • Excellent, client focused, writing skills.
  • Ability to identify and employ innovation and leadingedge technologies to meet client needs.
  • Willingness to travel on short assignments within the UK.
  • A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:


  • The management of a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects from inception to handover, meeting quality, time and budget requirements.
  • Reporting to practice management and discipline leads on the progress of projects and resource needs.
  • Contributing to successful proposals that meet client needs and lead to technically and commercially successful work.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships to support project delivery performance and maximise potential for project extensions and new work.
  • Ensuring compliance with Business Management, HSE and Quality procedures.
  • Maintaining your knowledge of current design and regulatory standards.
