Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with students who have been excluded or who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools.
- Provide academic, emotional and behavioural support to students.
- Develop and implement individual behaviour and support plans for students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive appropriate support.
- Attend and contribute to review meetings and other relevant meetings.
- Liaise with parents and carers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged young people, particularly those who have been excluded from mainstream schools.
- Qualification in a relevant area (e.g. health and social care, psychology, social work, teaching assistant, learning support assistant).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Salary:
£85.00-£95.00 per day
