Performance and Intelligence Reporting OfficerMain
Responsibilities:
- To identify and be lead officer on several intelligence initiatives, scoping and producing reports, creating technical specification logs and other supporting documents
- To work with senior officers and members of the performance team to identify performance issues across the whole of childrens services including childrens social care, SEND, education and Early Help
- To interpret legislation and develop performance activity to support compliance with national, regional and local policy developments
- To drive the development of an intelligence lead approach to the development, delivery and commissioning of services.
- To deliver against statutory and nonstatutory reporting requirements
- To support the delivery of Liverpool City Councils Improvement Plan including the use of data and analytics to develop effective services
- To support the delivery of the SEND Self evaluation with required data
- To work with IT colleagues and service leads to develop software solutions in Power BI, creating reporting in SQL to future proof these products for service use and improvement.
- To work with IT colleagues on the development of a data warehouse solution and data analytics to drive improvement and understanding of key issues across the organization
- To build and support a team in driving forward an intelligence led approach to development of policy, delivery and commissioning of services.
- To undertake research and analysis and prepare briefing notes where required
- To work independently as a self starter taking responsibility for delivering and developing a work programme prioritizing tasks and delivering on a number of key objectives
- To be a lead on the development of a data warehouse and data analytics having a strong and demonstrable technical skillset
Key Skills - intermediate/expert in:
Microsoft Office
SQL Server/Oracle
Data Architecture and warehouse solutions
Power BI / SSRS
