Description

A Personal Assistant is required, to offer person-centred care, for a disabled man within his family home.

The role is to support him with his every-day life, such as personal care, and supporting him at meal times, and during leisure outings.

Working with his family members, and as part of a small team responsible for enhancing the lifestyle and wellbeing of the client.

By working under the direct supervision of their employer, the Personal Assistant is responsible for carrying out their instructions to help the client and his family with their day-to-day support needs.

The Personal Assistant does not have to be a strong person physically to do the job well. However, general good health is important.

Experience in working with adults with profound multiple learning difficulties, is preferred, and training will be offered to the successful applicant.

A car owner/driver is preferred, but not essential, for this role.

This role is based in the Padgate area of Warrington, Cheshire.

THE HOURS OF WORK ARE:
The hours are to be worked as follows:

Week 1:
5:00pm-7:30pm Monday

4:30pm-7:30pm Tuesday

4:30pm-7:30pm Thursday

Week 2:
5:00pm-7:30pm Monday

4:30pm-7:30pm Tuesday

4:30pm-7:30pm Thursday

5:00pm-8:00pm Saturday

8:30am
