Job summary:


As the iHub Administrator (and DCDC's Information Support Administrator) you are to provide that essential administration support to DCDC's effective information management.

You support the iHub manager in executing all DCDC's information management responsibilities.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.


Job description:

You will be part of a small team essential to the operation of DCDC.


Person specification:


  • Managing the MODNet Sharepoint Online (SPOL) and HPRM systems;
  • Assisting the iHub Manager in drafting, and subsequently, executing DCDC's Information Management Plan;
  • Initiating audits of Team Sites to check for duplications and redundant files or documents that need placing into records;
  • Assist DCDC staff with periodic and immediate requirements to resolve issues and keep working when their MODNET/Academy Net accounts are not responding or otherwise fail
- assist all DCDC staff with the creation of Team Sites, Activity Workspaces and Document Libraries

  • Advising all DCDC staff to manage their data in the most effective manner for best use
  • Educate all DCDC staff on IM policy and protocols and how to effectively use SPOL and Meridio
- carrying out appropriate Expert User (MODNET) Authorised Demander (AD) and Local Security Officer (LSO) duties (ModNet S)

  • Assist SO2 Coord as required for the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan
  • Assist iHub Mgr with conducting monthly audits of all staff UAD's, laptops and smart phones for capacity issues
  • Carrying out all activities involved in managing user accounts through life
  • Disseminating information to the appropriate audience as directed by information management team members
  • Managing key information exploitation tools such as social media (if implemented);
  • Assisting the iHub manager in ensuring DCDC has the appropriate information assurance to be compliant with the law and TLB/HLB policies and procedures; and
  • Carrying out any other information management tasks as requested by iHub manager.

  • Directing and managing Team Site activities
  • Managing electronic records iaw JSP441
