About Longley Park View:

Longley Park View assists 59 adults facing complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities, and dementia. The home comprises four ten-bed units, fostering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One unit is dedicated exclusively to individuals who identify as male.

Longley Park View holds a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and an average score of 4.7 out of 5 on carehome.co.uk.

About the Role:

Perform decorating and redecorating tasks as instructed
Support in emergency evacuations, fire drills, and conduct weekly fire checks
Conduct Pat testing on electrical equipment
Coordinate with external contractors
Maintain the optimal functioning of plant machinery and equipment, such as gas, electric, oil, and water installations
Complete maintenance checks outlined in the manual and regulatory inspections
Ensure the health and safety of individuals, staff, and contractors/visitors
Safe handling of equipment and chemicals
Possess and retain a valid driver's license
Perform Electrical, Plumbing, and Joinery work
Available for emergency call outs
Requires an enhanced DBS disclosure

About You:

Require excellent organizational and planning skills, along with effective communication abilities
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
An electrical certificate adhering to the 17th edition would be beneficial or willingness to pursue the qualification
Possess a keen eye for detail and able to identify areas for enhancement
We provide all essential equipment for the job, including gloves and aprons for infection prevention and control
Past experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory
