NHS Lanarkshire is looking to recruit an Employability Officer/Job Coach as part of an exciting pilot that will support people entering/returning employment as part of our anchor organisation ambitions.


The purpose of this role is to support the management of the operational activity for NHSL's Employability Programmes and Apprenticeships Programmes Foundation/Modern/Graduate Apprenticeships.

The post holder will provide job coaching to individuals on the employability programmes and support their managers where necessary as well as provide support and advice to NHS Lanarkshire's managers and liaise with external agencies to enable the development and implementation of NHSL's employability initiatives across all NHSL's services and sites


Experience of working in a job coach position within employability programmes in a large sector organisation is required in addition to experience of working in partnership with multi agencies.

Experience interpreting complex information as well as managing own workload efficiently and effectively is also essential.
