Description

We are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for our client based near Manchester City Centre.

This is a permanent role, you must have at least 3 years plus of experience in warehouse picking and packing along with some form of team leader background.

Hours are Monday-Friday 08.30am-17.00pm.

Responsible for packing orders and to ensure all packing is up to date (Pick and packing)
Maintaining the standards of packing with the other staff
Printing & sorting orders in the morning
Responsible for overseeing warehouse organisation ie: tidying, replenishment
Regular stock takes when required
Ensure packing stations are clean and tidy at the end of every shift
Ensuring warehouse standards are maintained and addressing any issues with staff if needed
Responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety is 'No1 on the agenda' aligned with the overall site and business goals and guidelines. Ensure that staff are following these principles.
To be a great team player, support team mates and getting involved in all tasks, big or small.
Create a fantastic working relationship with the Warehouse Manager, implanting the standards and actions they set
Checking, counting and signing off intake on arrival for deliveries.
Support Shift Operations Manager in any all aspects of the operation
Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Working flexibly with hours and ensuring all orders and picked and packed daily
