We need a CMO now - why ?_

We've lots of new clients, a huge community of users, and a collaborative model for shaping our products, it demands we harness our community of users, industry experts and rich content library to raise brand awareness and drive our marketing strategy and growth.

We are looking for an exceptional CMO, someone with a track record marketing digital solutions into enterprises, preferably with knowledge of the construction sector, to help turbo charge our marketing activity.

The role
As a member of the Board, collaborate with the senior management team and Board members to:

  • Setting marketing and content goals and objectives for the business
  • Develop marketing ROI in line with targets, along with delivering innovative best in class activity that delivers results and drives growth and profile
  • Provide strong strategic direction for all aspects of the content development and marketing activities, building a marketing team and mentor them, using analytics to drive product development and working closely with our existing content and partnering team to understanding our communities' needs like it's your own
  • Develop our marketing systems including websites, policies and procedures to support this continued growth
  • Acquiring reliable and comprehensive data on sales and customer experience from different departments
  • Building relationships with creative, digital/media agencies and partners
  • Take full financial management of the marketing budgets, demonstrating excellent commercial understanding of client, partners, prospects and our business
  • Be our go to person for all communications and marketing tasks. The primary interface between our team and our users liaising with and communicating new features and content
  • Ensure all marketing related projects are running as smoothly as possible, we'd like you to be the enthusiastic driving force behind this
  • Reporting to our team internally and Board on our marketing performance and the results
  • Celebrating our success by organising client case studies, testimonials and other content marketing assets
  • Happy to muck in with any sort of task. We're only small
Things that we'll definitely look for

  • Demonstrate your success in marketing with outstanding communication skills
  • Diploma or qualification related field of study
  • Minimum 3 years marketing management experience
  • Naturally customer orientated, looking at things from their point of view to ensure we align to their needs and be comfortable dealing with people in various roles, from engineering to the C level
  • Excellent communications; phone etiquette, pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.
  • You'll be strong and passionate able to get on with things, enjoying problem solving, motivating people and influencing
Experience of relevant technology and proven knowledge of big data analysis


Salary:
From £80,000.00 per year
