£43,000 - £47,000 DOE

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week


Overview:


Grafton Recruitment are working with an award-winning, world-recognised British design brand offering classic and contemporary timepieces recruiting for a Head of HR.


About the role of The Head of Human Resources:

You will be focused on developing and supporting our people and continue to motivate the team, while implementing new internal policies to support the company's future plans.


You will excel at shaping HR policies and procedures and have a proven track record of successfully implementing them and take ownership of people related processes.

Liaising and working closely with our senior managers will be key to handling all peoplematters including recruitment, on boarding and performance management.

You will be confident with assisting our senior managers and our CEO with best practices and guidance when dealing with Employment Relations, Employment Law and HR policy.


Key responsibilities:


  • Manage all employee relations casework including disciplinarians, grievances, absence, performance management and redundancies
  • Coach managers and share best practices for all employment matters including the terms and conditions of employment
  • Processing the monthly payroll with our outsourced payroll company
  • Continuously monitor and develop HR policy and procedures
  • Manage all employee benefit administration
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: Drafting Job descriptions, advertising the role, interviewing with line managers, preparing contracts of employment and offer letters
  • Responsibility for the full employee lifecycle: managing all new starter inductions and onboarding duties, milestone celebrations through to managing the leaver process leaver letters, exit interviews
  • Work with senior management on operational procedures and performance to improve efficiencies and behaviour
  • Support change management processes as necessary
  • Reporting on ad hoc reports as requested by senior management
  • Support the CEO as an when necessary for ad hoc requests and projects
