Description

Psychological therapy services across BDCFT are eager to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Psychologists to support the delivery of high-quality services across the Trust.


The current vacancies benefit from being part of our assistant psychology rotation which aims to support Assistant Psychologists to gain a breadth of experience by working into different service areas across time (rotating yearly or every 2 years depending on the needs of the specific service with which you commence your employment).

The post holder(s) will need to work fulltime to be part of the Assistant Psychologist rotation in BDCFT.

The current available position will be based within Children's and Young Peoples Mental Health Services. Allposts will be part of well established Multi Disciplinary Team and supervised by a qualified Clinical Psychologist.

All Assistant Psychologists working in BDCFT are supported via induction, clinical supervision with a HCPC Practitioner Psychologist plus other psychological therapists (to ensure breadth of experience), and ongoing CPD to develop knowledge and skills commensurate with the requirements of their post; typically neuropsychological assessment and intervention skills, psychological skills work with individuals and in groups and service support with audit and research initiatives.
