About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Medical Administrator to join our Academy team.
In this diverse role working onsite in Kirby, you will assist the Academy Medical team with all administrative matters relating to the provision of the medical service at The LFC Academy.
What will you be doing?- Uploading and updating of all medical and nutrition records on each Player onto the PMA System.
- Releasing of medical records to other Clubs when Player transfers occur.
- Obtaining and chasing of medical consent between Football clubs for Players transferring to LFC.
- Assisting in the scheduling of medical staff in accordance with the training and games schedule.
- Ensuring medical kits and supplies are replenished and that items are renewed prior to expiry.
- Uploading of information obtained from Medical Questionnaires on each Player including both signed Players and Trialists.
- Provision of accurate information for the injury audit.
- Administration of all procurement for the Academy Medical department with regards to medical supplies.
- Administration of all invoices including raising purchases orders and passing invoices for payment for all services provided by third parties to Academy Medical.
- Responsibility of the daily recording the Player 'whereabouts' on the system for Academy players.
To be successful in this role, you will have a recent proven track record working in administration within a medical environment.
With your excellent IT literacy skills, you will have comprehensive experience using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint together with experience of medical databases/note taking systems.
Your experience will also include purchase orders and invoicing as well as coordinating and monitoring resources. Ideally, you will have an understanding of Football and appreciation of FA & PL rules and regulation. Your organisation and prioritisation skills will be exceptional, and you can work accurately under pressure. You will have a professional, customer focussed approach with high level of integrity.Why should you apply?
This is a full-time role working to meet the medical needs of the Academy schedule which may involve working some evenings and weekends.
