Fashion Communication Marketing sits within the Department of Art and Design which is a vibrant and established element of the University of Chester, providing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of visual arts and design disciplines based in Chester, at the Creative Campus Kingsway.

We are seeking three highly motivated, dynamic and future focused Lecturers.

  • The 0.4fte post holder will focus on delivering fashion communication and fashion marketing through virtual media and digital story telling.
  • The first 0.2fte postholder will support students to develop an understanding of influences on contemporary fashion industries and new marketing theories.
  • The second 0.2fte postholder will support the development of intern education, working directly with students to create networks, placements, live projects and industry mentors.


All roles require the postholder to have the capability to enhance the student experience and raise aspirations, with the ability to provide a supportive, flexible, creative learning environment, tailored to a diverse and inclusive body of students.


All staff in the Department are expected to participate in the development of industry contacts and potential employers and other external organisations to develop the student's employability prospects and support the existing excellent reputation of the Department.
