Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative/Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and inventory


Your responsibilities will include:

Order Fulfillment:
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer requirements.


Inventory Management:
Conducting regular stock checks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.


Logistics Coordination:
Booking online carriers, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating logistics to ensure timely product delivery.


Technology Savvy:
Utilizing our fully integrated software system to manage inventory, track deliveries, and maintain operational efficiency.


Receiving and Inspection:
Receiving deliveries of goods and supplies, checking for damaged or missing items, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.


Warehouse Operations:

Storing goods, moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.


Delivery and Dispatch:
Loading and delivering goods to customers as required, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.


Recordkeeping and Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and other warehouse operations.


Paperwork Management:
Keeping paperwork up to date, including documentation related to inventory, deliveries, and customer orders.


General Driving Duties:
Operating company vehicles to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining a safe driving record.

Qualifications and Experience


To excel in this role, you should possess:

Warehouse Experience:

At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.


Education:

GCSE level Cs or above in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications, to ensure proficiency in basic numerical and communication skills.


Driving Licence:

A valid driving licence, preferably with a clean driving record, to operate company vehicles for deliveries and transport duties.


Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.


Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.


Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and maneuvering goods and materials in a warehouse environment.
