The Continuous Improvement Lead role is an exciting new position, you will be developing and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the operational areas using recognised continuous improvement and lean manufacturing tools and techniques withthe aim of improving quality, improving productivity reducing cost.


The role will play an important role in helping to create and embed methodology through the company initiative, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.

You will be analysing and making recommendations for continuous improvements, developing the operations teams understanding of process control and influencing stakeholders at various levels.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Devise and deploy a plan to deliver continuous improvement under the direction of line management
  • Coordinate the continuous improvement activities on site
  • Understand the key principles of continuous improvement methodologies to ensure all process changes are fully compliant with current ISO standards
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Operational stakeholders to embed Continuous Improvement and change into the operational structure
  • Allocate work, ensuring that the sites are appropriately skilled and briefed fully so that the methods are delivered as per the customer requirements
  • Make recommendations for process changes to improve efficiency and encourage team members to do the same. Implement client change requests as directed by your manager, and brief and train the team as required
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports as required

ABOUT YOU

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
  • You will have experience in delivering and driving continuous improvement practices
  • You'll be a strong leader, having experience demonstrating proven ability of influencing and inspiring a team towards delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement activities
  • Good communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Effective interpersonal skills; being able to establish good working relationships with colleagues
  • Good delegation skills
