Description
We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Financial Controller who will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of ledgers, and all internal and external financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and tax compliance, and assistingthe Managing Director and Operations personnel in analyzing and driving profitability across all profit centres.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Month End IFRS closing process
- Fixed Assets
- Management Accounting
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- HRMC
- VAT & PAYE/NIC
- Systems and Process Improvement
- Financial Audits
- Service Level Agreements
Experience and Expertise:
- SAGE experience is necessary
- Startup experience would be useful
- Responsibility for all Accounting and Finance elements of the business
- Staff management including performance and salary reviews
- Support operations in analysing profitability, preparing budgets, establishing processes
- Lean Six Sigma ideal
- Ability to demonstrate concern for people, safety, and the environment
- Building relationships based on mutual trust
- Ensuring transparency in communications and actions
- The ability to adapt and learn different business models is essential
- Ability to think like a business owner
- Share knowledge for team efficiencies
- Process improvement and changes
- UK GAAP knowledge
- Flexibility and willingness to lead
- 5 years PQE ACA, CIMA or ACCA
