Qualitair Aviation has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to join a growing team in Hayes, UK on a permanent basis


Job Objective:
You will be required to learn various aspects of the stores operation including picking and booking in of parts, under the leadership of the Stores Team Leader


Responsibilities:


  • Working knowledge of all stores picking
  • Responsible pick work orders as required by production
  • Able to give support to any area with increased workload
  • Maintain positive team attitude
  • Offer input to Stores Supervisor for improvements
  • To be a part of the "Stores Improvement Project".
  • All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Stores Foreman or Stores Supervisor
  • Adherence to current practices and Implementation of Total Quality Management as applicable to the department operations.
  • An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company's environmental procedures.
  • Ensure all parts are returned to Stores correctly
  • Issue consumables correctly
  • All employees are required to use the company Integrated Quality Management System IQ Move

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Good understanding of computer systems
  • Must be literate and numerate
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Clean drivers licence
  • A selfmotivated individual
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
  • A positive thinking individual
  • Must be a Team player
  • An individual who is not afraid to put forward suggestions on improving the job or the stores operation
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Must be deemed suitable to work within a known consignor area and complete the required background checks
