Job summary:


We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused person to join our busy Recruitment and Infopoint Team as a Human Resources (HR) Administrator.

Job description:


As an HR Administrator you'll be:

  • Supporting and guiding our new starters and their line managers through the onboarding experience as we welcome people into our organisation, ensuring everybody has everything needed for the best possible start at Companies House;
  • Managing sensitive and confidential documents with accuracy, care and efficiency;
  • Maintaining links with new staff, outside organisations and other government departments to onboard new starters in a timely manner;
  • Guiding new starters and established staff through our security vetting process.
  • Networking and collaborating with other teams across our organisation to provide great customer service;
  • Taking an active role in recruitment project work this is an important part of us making our team a hub of excellence in recruitment;
  • Supporting a wide variety of HR administrative functions
  • Participating in the vibrant, exciting and welcoming organisation that is Companies House we'd encourage you to not only be a part of our team but to also play a part in our wider corporate life through the many opportunities that'll be available to you.

Person specification:


We are looking for a HR Administrator who:

  • Provides a really positive customer experience
  • ensuring that everybody you deal with gets great customer service;
  • Is confident engaging and communicating clearly with a wide range of people at all levels across and outside of our organisation;
  • Is well organised to manage a variety of tasks and your own workload, so that everything is completed accurately and on time;
  • Can adapt to a variety of tasks and a dynamic way of working;
  • Works well independently and as part of a team being comfortable following instructions, showing initiative and supporting colleagues;
  • Can work digitally using a range of software and systems;
  • Handles confidential information with sensitivity and care, adhering to our policies.
