ABOUT THE ROLE


As a Vendor Planning Specialist you will collaborate with the Functional Manager - Engineering Logistics to deliver our product ambitions and to shape our Beyond100 strategy.

This role purpose is to deliver Vendor Planning activities to the specified R&D project requirements.

The role sits within a team of specialists who are responsible for the planning and managing of prototype sourcing for a range of projects within the Whole Vehicle workshop function and internal customers.


MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal key knowledge holders to plan & deliver testing/validation requirement
  • Running of multiple parts club meeting with other internal while vehicle functions and report in weekly planning reviews.
  • Reporting of project status at DoD level, using relevant KPIs & countermeasure tools.
  • Containment of build part issues that arise through project build.
  • Track project spend, identifying & realising potential opportunities & mitigating any risks.
  • Conduct prototype project review & lessons learnt with build partners.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Engineering build methods, motor manufacturing preferred
  • Supplier chain planning experience
  • Excellent Microsoft skills including Excel
  • Experience of data logging and data management
  • Problem solving skills
