Part Time HR Administrator

Staplehurst, Kent | 22.5 hours per week | Permanent | £30,000FTE


We are delighted to be supporting a multi-sited family run retail organisation with their recruitment of a part time HR Administrator to join their dedicated HR team.

Occasional travel to their sister site in Kent will be required.

The role is fully onsite working initially with the potential for some remote working after a successful probation period.

Ideally the role will be worked on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.


Role Duties:


  • Responsible for the entire organisations HR administration
  • Liaise with line managers offering advice and support on a range of HR issues
  • Assist the HR Director with investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Updating employee records
  • Assisting with recruitment drives including completing telephone interviews and sitting in on face to face interviews
  • Responsible for the payroll process including making adjustments to pay.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the training requirements for staff members
  • Managing the review process
  • Supporting the HR Director with any ad hoc HR projects
  • Previous experience of working within a HR Administrator position required
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • An understanding of payroll preferred, extra training will be given
  • Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Resilient approach, proactive and with the ability to be a self starter
