About the Role:
An exciting and challenging opportunity has been created to join a Grounds Maintenance team who maintain Rights of Way within Wirral.
The Team implements the Wirral Parks Standard which will involve working with staff, Friends Groups, service users and external organisations and will join the Grounds Maintenance team, based at Cleveland Street Depot, which is responsible for the maintenance of all Highway verges & some open spaces within Parks & Countryside.
Health & Safety awareness.
Full/Provisional Driving Licence.
As well as being able to carry out a full range of maintenance duties it will be desirable if you were skilled in at least one of the following:
Compact Ride-On Mowing Machines.
Experience in use of industrial horticultural machinery, strimmer, backpack blower, and hedge cutter.
Possession of the following Desirable Criteria will be advantageous. Towing of trailers and NVQ 2 in Amenity Horticulture
Temporary Contract and hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday 08.00am -16.30pm (8 hours per day)
