Role Description
- Prepare daily forecast of Group cash balance and borrowing requirements to achieve optimal utilisation of own resources and debt facilities.
- Assist the Group Treasurer to ensure cash, debt and working capital facilities are managed with robust processes and controls.
- Manage daily treasury activities for client safeguarding and client money assets (as required by local payment service regulations).
- Arrange the funding, operations and maintenance of bank accounts across the Group.
- Assist the Group Treasurer in all aspects of treasury balance sheet risk management
- IR, FX, Capital, Liquidity and Counterparty credit risk.
- Assist the Group Treasurer in preparing annual update of ICAAP, ILAAP and other policy and governance documents.
- Support the Bank CFO, Group Treasurer and Regulatory Reporting with treasuryrelated ALCO and regulatory reporting matters.
- Execute Treasury FX trades as part of daily cash management process and in support of Group FX hedging strategies.
- Assist the dealers in FX trading, hedging and ISDA/CSA collateral/compliance. Support the Group Treasurer in conversations with the Dealers and Banks.
- Manage preparation of FX scenario and cash flow impact analysis.
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reporting for senior management and Finance, providing information on cash, debt, FX trading and investments.
- Facilitate and improve Treasury Performance and reporting through interaction with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the delivery and implementation of a Treasury Management System.
- Continue implementation of Bank accounts management and Bank charges monitoring system, and take ownership when completed.
- Involvement in ad hoc business/department projects such as bank onboarding, account opening, mandate management, etc.
- Deputise for Group Treasurer as required, offering guidance from experience
- Mentor members of the team in areas of Treasury risk management, Processes / Controls, Systems, Bank Regulation, Products and Markets
- Stay current on financial markets, banking payment services and prudential regulation
Role Requirements
- Qualified accountant and/or with ACT qualification.
- Significant post qualification experience of international treasury management in a regulated bank.
- Extensive experience in corporate treasury management, with stint in FX/Payments organisations a plus.
- An indepth knowledge of global cash management, FX management and payment services is essential.
- Knowledge of bank regulations in the area of treasury prudential risk management is essential
- Sound experience delivering and implementing a treasury management system, improving processes through change management and automation is essential.
- Knowledge of MIFID, Payment Services Regulations including emoney is an advantage.
- Strong grasp of process treasury design, reengineering and automation.
- Experience of working in a treasury with multiple entities, locations, banks, payment rails and currencies.
- Highly numerate, commercial and comfortable with fastpaced work environment.
- Cash management taking advantage of bank limits and other constructs like sweep, pooling etc.
- Intermediate understanding of FX derivatives (linear and options), experience of managing an FX book a plus.
- Previous people management experience.
