Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home


Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am -5pm


Salary:

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work within our Finance Team.


Within this role you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate transactional data processing across a portfolio of contracts, taking full ownership of the ledgers.

You will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions -supplier invoices, credit notes, self-employed and intercompany invoices.

You will ensure that Statement and Age Creditor reconciliations and ledgers are paid to term and in line with month end timetables.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will manage a high volume of invoices/statements for the Leisure business unit.

Acting as a trusted point of contact you will work with key stakeholders and the Purchasing department to ensure the supplier is paid to term.

What you'll need to do the role


First and foremost, you will have 1-2 years previous purchase ledger experience and be able to demonstrate evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


This role will see you using a range of Microsoft packages, so it is essential that you have strong IT skills with Excel and strong reconciliation experience.


You will be someone who naturally works well in a team and is willing to go the extra mile with colleagues to get the job done.

You will have the ability to highlight problems, offer innovative and practical solutions, and drive through their execution.
