Description
We are now looking for highly motivated individuals to join our award winning team.


Ward 28:

Trauma admissions unit, is a busy, 28 bedded unit offering care to patients who have suffered trauma and who may require surgical intervention.

Trauma experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Ward 14:

is a dynamic 16 bedded Elective Orthopaedic Unit, Enhanced recovery is the key element of our care and we have recently adopted "GIRFT" principles, (Getting It Right First Time).

This requires our staff to have excellent assessment skills and the ability to prioritize a busy workload.

The wards are modern and up to date, offering an excellent environment for our staff to practice and develop their skills, in order to further benefit our patients.

To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct

Work within BTHFT policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure high clinical standards.

To contribute to all nursing care ,providing care for patients including those with complex needs.


Working as a member of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide and monitor care.


We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated staff with excellent communication skills to join our forward thinking and dynamic short stay surgical team.

You must have a passion for delivering kind and compassionate care and be willing to learn and develop within your role.

Recruiting capable and committed staff is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality, safety and patient experience.

An important aspect of the role will be promoting a positive, supportive working environment which value's and supports staff. Good communication skills are essential and this will need to be demonstrated at interview.

Individuals should be flexible and be able to demonstrate they are an excellent role model with the ability to develop positive and professional interpersonal relationships.
