Carlisle Support Services are seeking a dedicated CCTV controller required for brand new control room at Mercia park, Swadlincote DE12 8AA.


Job Overview


We are now recruiting for experienced controllers to work in the brand new control room on site, covering 2 warehouses each 1,000,000 square feet, this growing and developing role working for 1 of the most recognised brand in the country.

In the control room you be the oversight for the security team and play a vital role in the safety for the site as a whole.


Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday days, Saturday and Sunday off, Monday to Thursday nights Friday, Saturday, Sunday off, this works out at an average of 54hrs a week.

Job Role

  • Ensure all staff work in a professional and safe manner.
  • Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
  • Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property.
  • Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
  • Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
  • Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required
  • Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite
  • Full uniform will be provided.
  • Required to work within a control room environment.

Essential

  • Essential SIA Licensed & CCTV.

Skills

  • Understanding of the UK Security industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours and shift patterns. Confident clear communication.
  • Outgoing and confident demeanour with the ability to be assertive as and when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of the phonetic alphabet
