Accept Recruitment is currently looking for Finance Admin Assistant to our new client based in Syston, LE7 area.


Duties:


  • Process supplier invoices ensuring they are matched to the correct Purchase Orders
  • Issue approved purchase orders to the suppliers
  • Ensure purchase orders are coded to the correct nominal codes
  • Raise purchase orders for invoices received directly
  • Querying supplier invoices with the relevant department and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain a good relationship with suppliers, ensuring they are notified of any queries, in order for speedy resolution
  • Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers in relation to any discrepancies
  • Manage Purchase Ledger by carrying out monthly aged creditor reports, and clearing all debit balances
  • Prepare regular payment runs and pay all suppliers accurately and within agreed credit terms, issuing supplier remittances
  • Support the maintenance and integrity of financial systems
  • Support banking services and processes adhering to the finance policy and procedures
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure efficient audits are undertaken
  • Check and post credit card transactions
  • A range of adhoc administrative tasks to support the CEO and Director of Finance, as required
  • Ensure compliance and support the development and review of financial procedures and HR policies
  • Model the highest professional standards to staff and pupils in all aspects of the role, leading by example, working at all times to the standards as set out in the staff Code of Conduct;
  • Be prepared to work 'across piece', being flexible and interested in other areas;
  • Be aware of and take part in the Performance Management framework participating in training and development activities as required;
  • Work in a manner that actively safeguards the wellbeing and safety of pupils, ensuring pupil voice and appropriate confidentiality;
  • Carry out duties placed on staff by Health and Safety legislation;
  • Carry out appropriate additional tasks at the request of the senior leader.

Requirements:


  • Administrator with some finance experience ideally
  • Hard working
  • Good level of English both written and spoken
  • Numerate
  • Attention to details

  • Flexible start time (8:00 9:00)
  • 37 hours per week
