We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients team in Glasgow.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payment of all accounts payable.


Responsibilities:


  • Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry into the system
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Production of weekly and manual payment runs
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely payment of all accounts payable
  • Assist with monthend closing and other accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:


  • At least one year of experience in accounts payable
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
