Financial Reporting Accountant - Camborne - £42,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a well-known public services group business with an outstanding reputation for staff development and retention.

The organisation currently seeks to recruit an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant, a newrole that has been created due to internal promotion.

This is a full time, permanent position to be based at the organisations Camborne site.

Supervise a team of three (predominantly management information focussed)
Maintain the financial health of the financial reporting function for several group entities
Maintain budget monitoring and variance analysis
Deliver financial reports with commentary for the senior management team
Production of draft management accounts
Reconciliation of balance sheet controls
Implement and develop a range of models to benefit business planning and budget setting
Support annual budgeting and forecasting procedures
Assist with yearend preparation and reporting
Implement and develop a range of financial controls to streamline systems and procedures
Support Head of Finance with year end audit
