Please note that this is an apprenticeship position and therefore anyone with more than six months professional experience working as a software tester or who holds an ISTQB foundation certificate will will not be eligible.
You will also need to commit to completing a Level 4 Software Testing Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice QA Software Tester you will work closely with developers, QA team and Stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle.

What you'll be doing
Working with our apprenticeship training provider (Digital Native) we'll support you to gain the knowledge and skills to be able to contribute to the QA team by:
- Collaborating with the development team to define and implement best practices.
- Ensuring the compliance with FCA principles "Treating Customers Fairly" (TCF) & other relevant legislative requirements.
- Assisting with the coordination and delivery of demo's to achieve business and stakeholder Testing sign off.
- Deputising QA Tester responsibilities in absence.
- Assigning Testing tasks and reviews where required.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and complete various administration tasks as required.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and is looking to progress in a career within software testing and quality assurance.
You'll be able to evidence this through prior qualifications such as A level Computer Science or college courses and you'll be honing your skills in your own time on platforms such as Codecademy or w3schools.
You'll also be able to show us that you're keen to learn how to:
- Learn new IT systems and processes
- Manually test across various systems and platforms.
- Work in a fastpaced, higheffort, dynamic work environment involving multiple platforms and architectures.
- Work in a crossfunctional agile software team.
- Have excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and organisation skills.
- Use bug tracking tools would be an advantage.
- Undertake regression testing.
- Use test automation and frameworks for EndtoEnd testing
