We are looking to recruit a committed, dynamic, and resourceful Administrator to job share for the busy Older Adults Home Treatment Team The post is for two days per week, Thursday and Friday.


The post holder will provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative service to the multidisciplinary team and will possess the ability to communicate effectively with patients with mental health problems as well as staff from all disciplines.

The post holder will also need to have a good working knowledge of office procedures, excellent standards of written and oral English, a good telephone manner and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.


The Older Adults Home Treatment Team comprises a Team Leader, Consultant Psychiatrist, Junior Doctors and Community Psychiatric Nurses and works closely with the Older Adult Inpatient Wards and Community Teams to provide the best possible experience to the service users who are referred to them.

The administrator plays a pivotal role supporting the day-to-day running of the service and the Team.

The Mental Health of Older Adult service sits within the Psychological Medicine and Older Adults (PMOA) Directorate and provides specialist health and social care services to older people and people with dementia across Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.

It's portfolio of services includes community and day services, in-patient, continuing care as well as a range of specialist provision.

The Directorate has a budget of just over £27 million and employs about 550 staff.

  • To provide comprehensive administrative support to members of the Home Treatment Team.
  • To take referrals and input them onto the Trust Electronic Patient Journey System
  • To ensure that all Key Performance Indicator information and data is inputted in a timely fashion to ePJS, scanning and uploading documentation. Ensure Trust data quality targets are maintained.
  • To maintain and/or create spreadsheets to capture required information and data in order to chart the progress of the Team and the work they undertake.
  • To assist in the administration of the Team Pool Cars.
  • To assist in the recording of Staff Training
  • To assist in all Health & Safety issues and recording as necessary on the Trust Assessnet
  • To be responsible for ensuring any communications are cascaded appropriately and in a timely fashion within the service, including sensitive and confidential information
