Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Customer Service/sales Team to ensure first class customer service.
- Point of contact for other departments concerning any customer servicerelated queries.
- Represent the business as a first line contact for incoming communications from Customers.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate replacement orders as FOC or chargeable orders following the appropriate sign off and inform other departments where necessary e.g., Credit Control, Quality
- Maintain the CRM system with customer returns.
- Build sustainable relationships with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Answer inbound Customer Service calls courteously and professionally, dealing with each enquiry effectively and efficiently.
- Support sales reps to grow existing accounts, reengage dormant accounts and win new business.
- Ensure that marketing materials and new product samples reach the entire customer base.
- Ensure the team meet their targets for daily calls, post code areas and qualified sales as well as any customer service requirements.
- Identify key customers and potential areas where products will be viable.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of wider products and services.
- Provide reports on activity and progress to the Directors, Sales Team Leader and Credit Control.
- Liaise daily with the Business Development Managers.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and ensure dates for production are met.
- Communicate with Despatch and Logistic companies to ensure the correct delivery service.
- Miscellaneous customer service/sales duties as and when required.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by management
- Previous Telemarketing / Lead Generation experience
- 2+ years customer service experience
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Must be motivated, enthusiastic and driven to exceed targets
- Ability to manage/prioritise own calling data via a CRM system
- Previous Business Development/Sales experience with the ability to work to deadlines accurately and efficiently in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational negotiating skills with the ability to communicate information in an accurate and professional manner
- Reliable and flexible
- Computer Literate, Numerate
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
